Open days

Every second Saturday of the month (March to December) we organize hangar open days, when visitors can see an extensive exhibition about Czechoslovak aviation with flightable exhibits.

Admission is free and souvenirs can be purchased during the open days.

The open day is provided by aircraft owners who hangars at our airport, pilots and members of our community.

In case of favorable weather, visitors can see unique historical originals in flight. At the same time, we try to make each DOD special by visiting other historic aircraft from friendly associations and airports.

We ask visitors to limit the arrival of cars, or not to park on the approach roads to the airport, only on the shoulder of the roads if necessary. These roads are the only entrance for the IZS. Thank you!

 To travel to/from the airport, in addition to a car, you can use:

1) Uber, Bolt or another type of taxi service

2) Bus from Cholupice (Bus stop "Zálužická" -277, 341) or Komořany (Bus stop "Komořany" -  139, 117, 165) and walk from the stop according to the maps
